​SoundCity, the Brighton & Hove Music Education Hub, brings together the leading organisations for music in the city, with Brighton & Hove Music & Arts (part of Brighton Dome Brighton Festival) as lead partner. This partnership reflects the unique artistic and cultural landscape of the city, whose key mission is to enhance and further develop music education and opportunities that reflect the needs of children and young people. Alongside our colleagues in schools, our strategic partners are AudioActive, Glyndebourne, University of Sussex and representatives from Public Health and the Music Industry.

Beat Goes On deliver a range of percussion workshops for schools including STOMP-style Body Percussion, Samba Drumming, Body Percussion with Literacy (based on work with Pie Corbett), Junk Percussion and Boomwhackers & Bamboo Tamboo. They also deliver CPD sessions for music specialists and non-specialists, and can support schools with Arts Awards & Artsmark applications.
